2. General information on data processing
We generally only process our users' personal data to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website along with our content and services. Personal data is regularly processed only with the user's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), or where necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). In doing so, information is automatically collected in so-called server log files transmitted by your browser (including IP address, date and time of the request, browser used). This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and serves the technical provision and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Since Vercel Inc. is based in the USA, data may be transferred to a third country. We ensure that appropriate safeguards (e.g. the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) are applied where required.
4. Cookies and consent (§ 25 TDDDG)
Our website uses cookies. Technically necessary cookies, which are strictly required for the operation of the website, are used without separate consent (§ 25(2) TDDDG). All other cookies (e.g. for statistical/analytics purposes or, in the future, advertising purposes) are only set after you have given explicit consent via our cookie banner (§ 25(1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of our website.
5. Google Analytics
Provided that you have given your consent, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (or Google LLC, USA). Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated is transmitted to and stored on a Google server.
Within the scope of Google Analytics, your IP address is shortened (IP anonymization) within member states of the EU or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
6. Contacting us
If you contact us by email (info@schemavalid.com), the information you provide is stored by us to process the request and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. Email correspondence is handled via Zoho Mail (EU data center). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
7. Notice regarding future services
This privacy policy describes the current state of our data processing. Should we use additional services in the future (e.g. Google AdSense for displaying ads), we will update this privacy policy accordingly and ask for your renewed consent via our cookie banner, where required.
8. Your rights as a data subject
You have the right at any time:
- to obtain information about the personal data we have stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- to request the correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)

9. Retention period
Personal data is only stored for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods.
10. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or unauthorized access.
11. Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services.
